Kirtibash award goes to Tarik Sujat
For the first time Kirtibash, a prestigious literary award of West Bengal has gone to a Bangladeshi-- poet Tarik Sujat. He has won this distinction this year for his work, Jabo boley themey thakte nei, published by Agami Prokashoni. Another award winner is Chironjib Basu of West Bengal, says a press release.The winners received their awards recently at UBI auditorium in the Kolkata Book Fair. The ceremony was presided over by renowned writer-poet Sunil Gangopadhyay.
