PBCP outlaws kill JMJB cadre in Rajshahi


A JMJB (Jagrata Muslim Janata Bangladesh) cadre was killed by PBCP (Purbo Banglar Communist Party) outlaws at Baroihati bazaar in Bagmara Sunday night.

Omar Ali, son of Murali Pramanik of Dukholpara village was shot at point blank and slaughtered to death at around 7.30pm. The killers numbering about 10 fled away chanting slogans in favour of PBCP (Red flag) faction.

Sources said, Omar, a former member of PBCP joined JMJB at the instigation of Bangla Bhai sometime in April, 2004. He was very close to dismissed Rajshahi SP (superintendent of police) Masud Miah.

Detailed information of the incident is yet to be known.
