Scholastica moved into the semifinals of both boys and girls' events in the 15th Bata school handball tournament yesterday.The boys' team trounced Sunnydale 11-3 and the girls' team beat Motijheel Govt. Girls' High School 10-6 at the Dhanmondi Women's Sports Complex. Narinda Govt. High School, Bangladesh International School and Bhashantek High School earlier confirmed their semifinal berths in the boys' section. In the girls' section, Viquarunnessa Noon, Ispahani Girls' High School and Sunnydale were the other teams to reach the last four. Sunnydale defeated Mohammadpur Preparatory Girls' High School 8-2 and Bangladesh Inter-national School beat BAF Shaheen College 10-6.
