SA Archery C'ship in Dhaka


The First South Asian Archery Championship will be held in Dhaka from February 8.

A total of 96 players from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan and hosts Bangladesh will take part in the five-day meet, said Rajib Uddin Ahmed, general secretary of South Asian Archery Federation at a press conference yesterday.

Each team contains 16 players -- eight men and eight women.

The participants will compete in two events named recurve bow and bamboo bow at the Old Airport venue.
