Traders call 2-hour strike in Sylhet tomorrow

Sylhet Zila Bayboshayee Oikya O Kalyan Parishad has called a 2-hour strike in the city tomorrow protesting the month long fair scheduled to be started this week at the Government Alia Madrasa Maidan.The Parishad will also hold a rally at the court point area on the day and hand over a memorandum to the finance minister through the deputy commissioner with a call to stop the fair. The business leaders will also announce fresh agitation that day. The decision was taken at an emergency meeting of the businessmen on Sunday night with its president Alhaj Sheikh Mokon Miah.in the chair.
