Jones returns for England

Glamorgan fast bowler Simon Jones rejoined England's NatWest Series squad Saturday following a week's rehabilitation on a knee injury.

Jones left the squad a week ago after complaining of a sore right knee which kept him out of England's opening game of the triangular one-day tournament against Bangladesh at The Oval on June 16.

But after working hard at the national cricket academy in Loughborough, central England, and having intensive treatment, Jones was cleared to rejoin the squad and train with them at Headingley on Saturday morning prior to Sunday's game at the Yorkshire headquarters against Bangladesh.

Hampshire seamer Chris Tremlett joined the squad in Jones's absence. He performed well in the last two matches and the selectors will make a decision on whether Tremlett remains in the squad over the weekend.
