Trade with India thru' Benapole resumes

Export-import between Bangladesh and India through Benapole land port resumed yesterday as port users called off their strike. Locals said the strike was withdrawn following a meeting of the leaders of six organisations of Bangladesh and India with Benapole Customs Commissioner Rafiqul Islam. Sources said nearly 3,000 trucks got stranded at Petrapole port in India due to the strike.
