9 Bangladeshi criminals on 6 days' remand in West Bengal


The West Bengal police produced nine top criminals of Bangladesh in Barrackpore SDJM Court yesterday.

The court ordered six days' police custody for the criminals.

According the police, Md Naimul Hassan, Biplab Sahid, Mussa Faruq, Md Suman, Md Bipul, Hamid Mian, Abdullah Abdul, Ebadul Sk and Kazi Md Redawan Sk (as written in their Passport) were produced in the court after the BSF and State intelligence department handed over them to West Bengal police.

Police brought allegation of fraudulence and anti-state activities against them and filed a case with the sub-divisional judicial magistrate court of Judge A K.Sengupta.

Police also produced one Ayub Ali Sk as a conspirator, who stayed in Bangaon.

Police said, in Bangaon police station, the central and the state intelligence people would conduct the interrogation.

The Home Secretary of West Bengal Amit Kiran Dev told BDNEWS "we don't have any instruction from New Delhi about these 9 people. According to the rule of the land police will submit charge sheet."
