First laparoscopic surgery on child today

For the first time in the country, doctors will perform a laparoscopic surgery on a child at the Institute of Child Health & Sishu Hospital at Mirpur in the city today, says a press release.Previously the patients had to go abroad for laparoscopic surgery, which was very expensive. At present, such surgery are being performed on the adults in the country. Relatives and doctors will be able to watch the surgery live on monitor.
