N Koreans complain to FIFA

North Korea will make an official complaint to FIFA over what their coach believed was unfair refereeing during a World Cup qualifier against Bahrain, a newspaper report said Saturday.

"The referee favored the opposing team too much," Yun Jong-Su, head coach of the North Korean team, was quoted as telling Chosun Shinbo, a pro-Pyongyang Korean language newspaper in Japan.

"We'll make an official complaint to FIFA," he said.

At a press conference after the match on Friday, an angry Yun said he was bitterly disappointed with the refereeing and was considering making an official complaint.

"The only thing I want to say is that in every competition, national or international, the refereeing should be fair," Yun said through an interpreter.
