NSU Club Fair-2005 held

NSU Vice-Chancellor Dr Hafiz GA Siddiqi inaugurates the North South University (NSU) Club Fair-2005 as the chief guest in the city yesterday

North South University (NSU) Club Fair-2005 was held on the campus yesterday, says a press release.

Fourteen student activity clubs presented various attractive programmes, including debate, skits, exhibitions, variety show, concert and fashion show.

Vice Chancellor Dr Hafiz GA Siddiqi inaugurated the fair as the chief guest. Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr SAM Khairul Bashar was present as the special guest. Dr Siddiqi in his inaugural speech emphasised the need for extra-curricular activities in the rigors of serious study. He said the clubs offer students the opportunity to hone and exhibit their talents, organisational ability, management skills, leadership quality and cooperative efforts.

Dr Bashar said that the club fair would be a prestigious and splendid event for the NSU community.

Dr Khaliquzzaman Elias, Dean of School of Arts & Social Sciences, Dr ANM Meshquat Uddin, Dean, School of Business & in-charge of NSU Student Clubs and Proctor GMA Quasem were present.
