A talented actress

I refer to your article on Shomi Kaiser, which appeared in the online version of your daily on Monday, February 7.

I had heard about her from various online showbiz journals and didn't really pay too much attention until I read in your article that she is from the same district as I am. It's not often you hear any (good) news from Noakhali. In fact, more often then not, there's nothing to report at all and when there is, it's usually about unscrupulous politicians, high levels of crop damage during the floods, what the local mastans are up to, or diarrhoea outbreaks.

It's therefore pleasing to hear news that a fellow "Noakhalia" is revered as one of the prettiest and most talented of all the actresses in our country.
