Miscreants gunned down a ringleader of outlawed New Biplobi Communist Party (NBCP) and a listed top criminal of Khulna district on Sunday night at Joypara of Chabbish Pargana district of west Bengal. He was an accused in 21 murder cases with different police stations of Khulna, Bagerhat and Satkhira districts.

Anil Krishna Bain, 36, fled the country last year in the face of Operation Spider web.

Earlier he replaced Monoranjan Goshai alias Mrinal, founder of NBCP who was killed on September 20 this year at Krishipalli of Nadia district in West Bengal.

Anil Krishna Bain was a chargesheeted accused in Magurghona UP Chairman murder case and there were 16 warrants of arrest against him, Dumuria police said.

Including Anil, five NBCP outlaws have been killed in India. Four others are Barun, Mrinal, Alamgir and Billal Fakir.
