War and poverty

Throughout the world the countries are torn by wars. The sounds of bullets and mortars surround us. Killings and bloodshed seems to have gone out of control. The world today can be compared to the days of French Revolution. The cataclysmic origin of aggression is between all of us now. And this is leading to poverty and hunger with a lifeless United Nations standing like a silent spectator. The people in poor countries are facing starvation. We cannot afford these expensive wars at the expense of these people living in subhuman conditions. All that war can ever lead to is massacre, devastation and treachery.

Leaders of the world should unite. Peace treaties and international legislation may be the only way to avoid the impending catastrophe.
