Monitor, Sheraton sign MoU to hold Chef of the Year competition

The Bangladesh Monitor travel magazine and Dhaka Sheraton Hotel signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) yesterday in Dhaka to introduce annual 'Chef of the Year' competition.

Editor of the magazine Kazi Wahidul Alam and General Manager of Dhaka Sheraton Hotel Trevor MacDonald signed the MoU on behalf of their sides, says a press release.

Under the deal, Bangladesh Monitor will be the lead organiser and sponsor while Dhaka Sheraton will act as the co-sponsor of the contest, which is divided into two categories -- Professional Chef of the Year and Amateur Chef of the Year. Housewives will be able take part in the amateur category.
