Injured outlaw dies at KMCH prison cell

One of the three outlaws severely injured in an attack by angry mob on Saturday night at a brick field at Rupsha upazila died at the Khulna Medical College Hospital (KMCH) prison cell yesterday morning.

The dead was identified as Shaikh Russel, son of Zakir Hossain of Dolekhola under Khulna thana.

Two other outlaws are in deep come at the cell. They are Jamal Shaikh alias Raju, son of Makbul Shaikh of East Baniakhamar and Aziz, son of Khalilur Rahaman of Bagmara under Khulna thana.

Rupsha thana OC said that the PBCP (M-L janajuddho) operatives came under mob attack when they went to a brick field on Saturday night to realise Tk one lakh as toll from its owner Abdul Jalil Khan.

They threatened to kill Jalil Khan for refusal to pay toll, OC said.
