MSC rope in Brothers stars

Mohammedan Sporting Club ensured the services of three top footballers for the next season when they collected the tokens of goalkeeper Biplab Bhattachariya and fellow centre-back Nazrul Islam yesterday. The two national caps played vital roles in Brothers Union's maiden Premier League and National League triumph last season but decided to boost the Black and Whites' revival bid after a trophyless season. Mohammedan, who finished fifth in the Premiership, also recruited Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra's left-back Jahangir Alam Mintu. Brothers kept losing their stars as midfielder Arman Mian handed over his token to Muktijoddha Sangsad officials. The Gopibagh outfit, however, managed to rope in Mohammedan's Jewel Rana, the former national captain who cut his ties with the popular Motijheel-based club after a long stint.
