Lanka accuses Tigers of breaking truce

Police and residents look at the body of a slain Sri Lankan soldier from the military intelligence unit after he was gunned downed while riding a motorcycle in the eastern Sri Lankan district of Polonnaruwa Thursday. There was no immediate claim of responsibility but the military has blamed similar attacks on the rebel Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam who are officially observing a truce with government forces.
