Tigers kill 2 fishermen in Sundarbans
Two fishermen were killed by two Royal Bengal Tigers in Alor Kole area on Natikata Canal in the Sundarbans Friday.
The victims are Narayan Chandra Biswas, 30, of Sree Manta Kati village and Razab Ali, 38, of Kanaidia village in Shyamnagar.
For all latest news, follow The Daily Star's Google News channel. Police said up to 12 fishermen went to fish in the Sundarbans Thursday. Two Royal Bengal Tigers swooped on them Friday morning and dragged them into the deep forest.
Fellow fishermen later recovered their bodies yesterday afternoon.
