Ferdous Ahmed, a prominent actor of the silver screen, talked to our correspondent about his career. In his words:
Film career

I visit Kolkata every month since I am shooting for about seven or eight films there. However, I am well positioned in Bangladesh's film industry. The audience has accepted me and it is exciting to work in one's own country. On working with Shabnur
The public have shown their acceptance for our pair. But personally, I never wanted to be dependent on anybody. I want to work with a team. Recently, Shabnur and I were fined by the Film Producers and Distributors Association because we continued acting despite the strike called by the association. Shabnur was fined heavily while I was fined nominally. However, I don't have any idea regarding the difference.
