Shahjalal Shrine Blast
5 suspects sent to capital for quizzing

Five people, arrested in Sylhet in connection with the Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) Shrine blast, were sent to the capital yesterday night for quizzing before a joint interrogation cell.

An inspector of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of police left for Dhaka at 9:00pm with arrestees Abdus Salam Lucky, Shamsuddin Saju, Tareq Ahmed, Dudu and Enam, police sources said.

They were held on different dates since the May 21 grenade attack at the shrine, which left three people killed and 70 others injured, including Bangladesh-born British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Anwar Choudhury.
