As part of anniversary celebration, the bank has decided to donate Tk 10,000 each to 400 divorced and 100 acid victim women to help them establish small agro-based rural economic enterprises, says a press release.

The enterprises include poultry farms, fish farm, livestock rearing, nursery and cottage industries.

If the beneficiaries of the programme can successfully operate their enterprises, the bank will extend loan at a minimum five percent interest rate for expansion of the enterprises.
