Over 1,600 held, 14 firearms recovered

Police arrested 1,669 people on various charges during their ongoing countrywide drive in the last 24 hours till 6.00am yesterday.They also recovered 14 firearms, two other weapons and 144 bullets. Ten cases were filed against 31 people under the Arms Act, said a police headquarters press release.
