Wrong winner!

I cannot absorb the shock of the Congress winning the Indian elections. I have no problem admitting that the Hindu nationalist party, BJP, has somewhat balanced out problems between the Hindus and Muslims in the Indian sub-continent. I am sorry to say that Sonia has no previous governing experience. Mr. Vajpayee has been involved in politics and governance for the past 50 years. We blame the Great Depression on President Hoover, likewise the two wars based on Kashmir, between India and Pakistan, have been fought during the regimes of the Congress. Keep in mind that the Babri Mosque and Golden Temple incidents both occurred during Congress's rule. The BJP had made the mistake of concentrating on the cosmopolitan areas, but India has really shined over the last years of Vajpayee's rule. The name Gandhi worked like a high-powered antibiotic for the Congress. In the past, we have seen Pundit Nehru and Indira working together. As the non-stereotyped dynasty moves on, we witnessed Sanjay Gandhi and Indira collaborating, which later passed on to Rajiv Gandhi. Today we see Rajiv Gandhi's wife and two of his children. Never have all three Nehru-Gandhi family members cooperated with each other prior to the elections. It's about time to see whether India is darkening up, or it remains shining. Hopefully, the prime minister-elect will have advisors to guide her in the days ahead.
