The campaign, intended to create public awareness about the dangers of smoking, is organised jointly by Adhunik, the national anti-tobacco organisation, and Coalition Against Tobacco (Cat) as part of programmes of the World No Tobacco Day on May 31.

The organisations plan to collect around 1,000 signatures from among cross-sections of the general public and the students.

National Professor Dr Nurul Islam, President of Adhunik, will be present on the occasion, says a press release.
