The prize-giving ceremony of Sony Rangs-Prothom Alo Winter Festival Chamak Part-2 was held yesterday in Dhaka.

A total of 30 winners got prizes that included 1500cc car, motor cycle, Sony colour television, Rangs refrigerator, Sony DVD player, Rangs washing machine, Rangs micro wave woven and two-in-one cassette players.

Twelve years old school boy Rafiuzzaman of Mymensingh got the first prize, a 1500cc Proton Saga brand new car, while Athey Biswas of Mirpur got the second prize, a TVS Victor motor cycle.

Aktar Hussain, chairman and managing director of Rangs group of Companies, was present at the function as chief guest.

The Daily Prothom Alo Joint Editor Abdul Quayyum, Rangs Group Vice-chairperson Sachimi Hussain, Directors Beanus Hussain and MA Wazed and Finanacial Advisor Ashrafuddin were also were present at the function.

Under the promotional campaign, buyers got coupon against purchase of Sony Rangs products. The campaign ran during December 13, 2003 and February 1, 2004. Thirty winners were selected through a raffle draw on February 25.
