150 hemp plants recovered

About 150 saplings of hemp were recovered from a Jamalpur village on Sunday.

A task force comprising BDR, Police, Ansar and Narcotics Control Department (NCD) personnel raided the villages of Uttar Bhat Khawa and Dakkhin-Bhat Khawa and recovered the saplings.

However, the hemp cultivators managed to flee.

Eight separate cases were registered with Dewanganj thana against 15 persons.
