Mamunur Rashid a renowned playwright as well as director, is for the first time making a play for Eid. The playJimmywill be on air at 8:40pm on the second day of the Eid special programme arranged by ATN Bangla

Synopsis: Arfan Kazi, a village leader lives mostly in the city and seldom visits his village for political purposes. The villagers now demand fulfillment of the commitments that he had made before the election. He fails , as he did not maintain good communication with his top-level leaders. Meanwhile, a group of girls and boys come to that village from the city to make a music video. Khosbu, a choir -girl, takes Arfan Kazi as her elder brother. However, being influenced by a hypocritical palmist, Arfan plans to marry Khosbu and make her his third wife. At this point Arfan Kazi faces a different problem when his second wife, along with her two counterparts, kidnap him. They force their hostage to fulfil their five- point demand. Police and journalists fail to rescue him, while the villagers do not pay much heed to their unfaithful leader.

Mamunur Rashid likes to represent some social problems through this satirical comedy.
