Grand going, Mushfiqur!

Mushfiqur Rahman Babu impressed everyone with both his batting and bowling in the last two series against Pakistan and England. He has shown his sense of responsibility towards the team and batted very patiently, which was virtually absent among his temamates. The way he played in the 3rd ODI against England in Dhaka, with a knee injury, showed the way to the other players.

Mushfiqur was discarded a couple of years back, but he has come back with a bang! Bangladesh have found a very impressive all-rounder in Mushfiqur and the cricket management should try to get the best out of him. Mashrafee Mortuza, or the "Narail Express" as he's known, was not handled too well. He has been injured again and possibly will be out from the international cricket scene for about eight months or so. Khaled Mahmud , the Bangladesh captain, should take a leaf out of Mushfiqur's book and look at the youngster's performance before promoting himself (Mahmud) up the order and calling himself an "all-rounder".
