Chelsea owe it to Mutu

Romanian Adrian Mutu completed a second half fightback by Chelsea in a 2-1 Champions League victory over Lazio here on Wednesday to wipe away recent disappointments.
Simone Inzaghi scored for Lazio in the 38th minute against the run of play but Frank Lampard and then Mutu scored for the Blues after the break to put them firmly on course for qualification from Group G.
"Happily we won tonight," said Lampard.
"If we had lost, we would have put ourselves in a very difficult situation."
Chelsea now top the pool with six points from three matches with Lazio and Sparta Prague on four points
and Besiktas with three.
Chelsea's welcome victory comes in the wake of Arsenal knocking them off the top of the Premiership on Saturday with a 2-1 win at Highbury and a 2-0 home defeat to Turkish club Besiktas in their last continental action.
Chelsea coach Claudio Ranieri told Sky television afterwards: "They scored with their first shot on goal and this was very bad for us. At half-time I said they had to keep calm and keep going and they had a brilliant reaction.
Lazio coach Roberto Mancini brought in defensive midfielder Luciano Zauri with Stefano Fiore on the bench.
Ranieri made a few changes from their defeat to Besiktas in their last match. Wayne Bridge, Glen Johnson, Damien Duff and Eidur Gudjohnsen came in for the injured Marcel Desailly, Celestine Babayaro and Hernan Crespo with Geremi named as substitute.
Chelsea started brightly but despite the energy of Duff down the flanks, they did not manage to create a real chance on goal till Lazio scored.
The Blues failed to clear the danger and Massimo Oddo's cross was knocked back across goal by Dejan Stankovic and Inzaghi was in the right place at the right time to leave Carlo Cudicini, who made a terrible mistake to gift Arsenal's Thierry Henry the winner on Saturday, no chance.
Lampard hit the crossbar in the first minute of injury time but, frustratingly, the ball refused to find the back of the net.
Lampard had better luck in the 57th minute however.
Moments after Duff turned and shot to force a save from Angelo Peruzzi in Lazio's goal, Lampard scored his first ever goal in the Champions League.
Lampard hit a great right-foot shot from the edge of the area after good work by Mutu, Duff and Gudjohnsen to give the Stamford Bridge fans something to cheer. Better was to follow though.
Jesper Gronkjaer came on for Juan Sebastian Veron midway through the half and his inclusion proved a masterful move as he set up Chelsea's 65th minute winner.
Gronkjaer showed good skill on the wing before crossing for Mutu, whose first shot was stopped by Lazio defender Jaap Stam, but who calmly hit the ball home on his second attempt.
Cudicini made a superb save with a quarter-hour to go from the head of Bernardo Corradi who finally got in a chance after being contained for much of the match and Mancini's men never managed to grab an equalizer.
