Computer centres of the education boards will finalise the grade sheets by October 12.

"Board officials have sought an appointment with the prime minister between October 13 and 16 to officially hand over the results as per tradition," a ministry official said.

The prime minister might meet the board officials on October 13, another source said.

HSC results were delayed by a week due to absence of the chairman of Dhaka Education Board, who is also coordinator of all education boards, sources said.

Examinees and their guardians have been anxiously waiting for results of the HSC exams that were held three months ago.
