2 Manikganj doctors infected with Covid-19, now quarantined in Dhaka

Two doctors working in Manikganj were found infected with Covid-19 and now remain under quarantine in their Dhaka residences.

Of the two, one is from Singair Upazila Health Complex, said Civil Surgeon Anwarul Amin Akhand.

Another doctor is from Colonel Malek Medical College, Professor Akhtaruzzaman, principal of the college, confirmed to The Daily Star.

Their samples tested positive for Covid-19 by the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR) in Dhaka, the civil surgeon confirmed.

Ten people have so far tested positive for coronavirus in the district.
