2 Bangladeshis killed in UAE

Two Bangladeshi workers died after falling from an under construction building at Sharjah city of United Arab Emirates on Wednesday, reported The Gulf News.

The details of the victims, however, were not available in the report. 

One of them was identified as MHA, 40, who died on the spot while the second unidentified worker succumbed to his injuries at Al Qassimi hospital.

Contacted, AKM Mizanur Rahman, first secretary (labour) at Bangladesh Consulate in Dubai, could not confirm the incident today.

A case has been filed with Al Buhairah Police Station in Sharjah for further investigations.

Police have urged construction companies to ensure all safety measures in worksites in order to avoid accidents.
