2 army men buried, bodies of 4 BGB men sent to their villages
Two senior warrant officers of Bangladesh Army, who were killed in a mortar shell explosion in Ghatail of Tangail Wednesday, have been laid to rest in their village homes.
Senior Warrant Officer Manjur was buried in Bhuapur upazila, Tangail on Wednesday night, and Senior Warrant Officer Parvez in Parla of Magura yesterday.
The two died along with four Border Guard Bangladesh personnel in an explosion when the BGB men were practicing live firing at Shaheed Salahuddin Cantonment in Ghatail.
A BGB public relations officer said the bodies of Lance Nayek Mohammad Ali and Sepoys Abu Sufian, Ekramul Haque, and Mohammad Ali Jinnah were sent to their village homes last evening after their namaz-e-janaza at BGB headquarters in the capital.
