13 robbers held from Padma

Detectives arrested 13 robbers from a boat in the River Padma in Charvobanipur area under Sujanagar upazila on Monday evening.
They also seized a revolver, two sharp weapons and an engine boat from their possession, said officer in-charge of Pabna DB police Kazi Haniful Islam.
The arrestees are Mohoram Ali, 22, Delwar Hossain, 20, Hazrat Ali, 50, Shahin Mollah, 22, Khokon Ali, 20, Ripon Khan, 28, Aku Pramanik, 50, Sajahan Ali, 30, Motleb Hossain Choyan, 28, Sujon Ali, 24, Milon Uddin Sheikh, 40, Hasmat Ali, 42 and Sujon Hossain, 40, of different villages in Pabna and Kushthia districts.
On secret information, a team of DB police raided the area and arrested the 13 when they were holding a clandestine meeting.
