12,000 Ansar men to guard highways

He was briefing journalists on the outcome of an inter-ministerial meeting on ensuring safe and smooth vehicular movement on the highways amid the opposition alliance’s movement.
With Quader in the chair, Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan, Railway Minister Mujibul Haque, State Minster for Home Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, State Minister for LGRD and Cooperatives Moshiur Rahman Ranga attended the meeting held at the home ministry.
Besides, top officials of different law enforcement agencies and representatives of the bus and truck owners association were present at the meeting.
