Egypt train collision kills at least 21
Two trains collided outside the Egyptian city of Alexandria yesterday, killing at least 21 people, a health ministry official said. The crash also injured 109 people, Sharif Wadi, an assistant to the health minister, told state television. Officials said that the crash was probably caused by a malfunction in one of the trains that brought it to a halt on the rails. The other train then crashed into it.
