Trump meets man behind 'Pen Pineapple Apple Pen’ in Japan

US president Donald Trump in his recent Japan trip met the man who took the internet by a storm with his 'Pen Pineapple Apple Pen' (PPAP) music video in 2016.

Piko-Taro, whose real name is Kazuhito Kosaka, met Trump at a dinner alongside Japan's Prime Minister Shinzō Abe on Monday night, reports Mashable. 

Piko-Taro was dressed in his usual distinct orange faux-leopard skin outfit and with it stood out amongst the crowd.

"It is an honor!" Piko-Taro wrote on Facebook.
