Judge recognises suspect as ex-classmate (video)
An emotional middle school reunion unfolded in a Miami courtroom this week, reports FoxNewsInsider.com.
Judge Mindy Glazer was in bond court when she recognised 49-year-old burglary suspect Arthur Booth and asked him if he went to Nautilus Middle School.
“Oh my goodness, oh my goodness,” Booth said as he started to cry.
“I'm sorry to see you here, I always wondered what happened to you, sir,” Glazer told Booth, who was charged with burglary, grand theft, fleeing and resisting arrest.
“This was the nicest kid in middle school,” FoxNewsInsider.com quotes Mindy as saying.
Glazer recalled how the two used to play football together and told him, “I hope you are able to change your ways.”
The suspect’s bond was set at $43,000.
