Tigers fold for lowest total, lose series
India clinched the ODI series as Bangladesh folded for 58 runs, the lowest ODI total of the Tigers, in the second one-day international (ODI) at Mirpur in Bangladesh capital Dhaka today.
Openers Tamim Iqbal and Anamul Haque returned to the pavilion after scoring 4 and a duck respectively.
None of the batsmen except Mithun Ali and Mushfiqur Rahim could even reach double digits.
Indian pacer STR Binny got six wickets off 4 runs only.
Earlier Tigers restricted India to just 105 a superb five-wicket haul by debutant pacer Taskin Ahmed.
Rain-interrupted, the match was curtailed to 41 overs. But the visitors were all out in 25.3 overs.
Right arm pacer Taskin bowled eight over and picked up five wickets for 28 runs. He sent off Robin Uthappa, Ambati Rayudu, Cheteshwar Pujara, STR Binny and A Mishra.
