There shouldn't be BNP programmes in Aug: Nasim
Terming BNP “fascist and conspirator”, Health Minister Mohammad Nasim today said the party should not be allowed to hold any programme in August as it is used to hatch conspiracy in this month.
Citing the August 15 massacre and August 21’s grenade attack, the minister said, “BNP has the record of hatching conspiracy several times during the month of mourning”.
The minister was addressing an award giving ceremony at Bangabandhu Memorial Museum on Road 32 of Dhanmondi in the capital.
The Minister further claimed that BNP is hatching conspiracy so that Sheikh Hasina fails to materialise Bangabandhu’s dream of 'Sonar Bangla’.
He also urged the new generation to know the real history of the country’s Liberation War as BNP is trying to distort it.
Minister of Liberation War Affairs AKM Mozammel Haque was also present at the programme organised by Bangabandhu Shishu Kishor Mela marking the National Mourning Day.
