`As we mentioned before, the movies competing for the Golden Palm are screened at Grand Theatre Lumiere.  Every day, the very first screening is at 8:30 am, which is called “press screening”. A mere press accreditation doesn't make for easy access -- it is all on a first-come-first-served basis.
