Microsoft to open new London-based AI hub

Microsoft has unveiled plans to open a new artificial intelligence (AI) hub in London, UK, with a primary emphasis on researching large language models and associated infrastructure. The Microsoft AI Hub team will be led by AI scientist and engineer Jordan Hoffmann, with Mustafa Suleyman, co-founder of Google DeepMind, as EVP and CEO.

Microsoft and OpenAI to build $100 bln data centre: report

Microsoft and OpenAI are reportedly planning on building a data centre that would cost as much as $100 billion, as per a report by the global news platform The Information. The report adds that this data centre could also include an AI supercomputer called 'Stargate', which is set to launch in 2028.

Microsoft Teams to integrate personal and work accounts

Microsoft is planning to introduce a unified version of Teams that combines both personal and work accounts. Currently undergoing testing, the new unified Microsoft Teams app is set to debut for commercial users in April.
