36-hr hartal in Barisal div from Sunday

The BNP-led 20-party alliance has called a 36-hour hartal in Barisal division from Sunday protesting harassment and cases against BNP chief Khaleda Zia. Moniruzzaman Faruk, Barisal city vice-president of BNP, said they will enforce the shutdown at all six districts of the division from 6:00am Sunday to 6:00pm Monday, reports our local correspondent.
