Former Zimbabwean pacer Heath Streak has been appointed as the specialist bowling coach of the national cricket team, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) officially announced today. “Streak has been appointed on the post for next two years and will be working for 450 days with the Tigers during the period,” Jalal Yunus, media committee chairman of BCB, said at his Sher-e Bangla National Stadium office in Mirpur. Former Pakistan pacer Wasim Akram could become Bangladesh's bowling consultant. Chairman of the Bangladesh Cricket Board's (BCB's) cricket operations committee Akram Khan had meetings with the Pakistan legend about a possible position with the BCB during the Asia cup and the recently concluded ICC World Twenty20.
