A High Court bench today refused to hear bail petitions of expatriates’ welfare and overseas employment Secretary Khondaker Showkat Hossain in three corruption cases. A Dhaka court today extended bail to four BNP leaders including its acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir till June 17 in two murder cases filed with Ramna Police Stations. The three other leaders are: Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Aman Ullah Aman and Sirajul Islam.
