4 of a family found dead in Mymensingh

A Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal activist, his wife and their two minor daughters were found dead at their house in Bhaluka upazila of Mymensingh early today. The deceased are: Rafiqul Islam Bachchu, 32, his wife Shefali Begum, 28, and their two daughters -- six-year-old Jiniya and one-year-old Hosna. Locals found the bodies of Shefali and her daughters inside a room of their house while Rafiqul’s body was lying on their yard, the sources said. Rafiqul and Shefali were stabbed to death while their two daughters were strangled, local sources said. Confirming the murders, Golam Sarwar, officer-in-charge of Bhaluka Police Station, said Reason behind the killings could not be known immediately.
