The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) today interrogated the wife of BNP leader Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain in connection with a money laundering case. Ahsan Ali, deputy director of the anti-graft body, quizzed Bilkis Akter for two hours from around 10:00am at the ACC's Segunbagicha office in the capital. Mosharraf’s bail cancelled

The Supreme Court today cancelled a High Court order that granted anticipatory bail to BNP leader Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain in a money laundering case. A five-member bench of the Appellate Division headed by Chief Justice Md Muzammel Hossain passed the order after disposing of an appeal filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) against the High Court order. The High Court, on February 10, granted anticipatory bail to Khandaker Mosharraf for six weeks in the case.
