Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre (IGCC) is organising a musical evening by Somnur Monir Konal today at 6:30pm at its Gulshan premises. Born in Dhaka, Konal has been living at Kuwait from the age of six. She learned music from her mother, a Nazrul singer. Later, she studied Indian Classical Music at All India Music Academy, an institution affiliated to Rabindra Bharati University.
