Prosecution seeks Sayedee’s death

Attorney General Mahbubey Alam today prayed to the Supreme Court to give death penalty to Jamaat leader Delwar Hossain Sayedee in all the cases proved before the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) -1. He made the prayer while placing concluding arguments on the appeal in connection with the crimes against humanity cases lodged against Sayedee. The ICT-1 on February 28 last year awarded death penalty in two charges although the eight charges were proved against him.
